Maxfield is a concept store, and home to an amazing stable of avant-garde, directional and obscure fashion designers as well as high fashion labels. One of the most well known and highly sought after West Hollywood shopping destinations, Maxfield caters to a unique clientele of celebrities, the rich and famous, and those who are seeking the trendiest brands, labels and styles. Maxfield regulars include; Adam Lambert & partner Sauli Koskinen, A.J. McLean, Chris Brown, Daniel Craig & wife Rachel Weisz, Hillary Duff, Katie Holmes, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Ritchie and Paris Hilton.
To house this collection of high fashion combined with a variety of home and lifestyle accessories including; books, candles, jewelry and sunglasses, L.A. architectural firm Standard created an austere concrete block building – the vision of store creator and owner, Tommy Perse. The exterior – an art gallery, or perhaps museums – belies the unique shopping experience inside; a unique collection of exclusive brands from around the globe. Many of the brands or items are exclusively found in Maxfield and cannot be purchased elsewhere, such as; Carol Christian Poell, Chanel, Comme des Garçons, Martin Margiela, Mastermind Japan, Prada, Rick Owens, Roland Mouret, Thomas Wylde and Yohji Yamamoto.
