I met with Spiral Editor-in-Chief, and Jet Contributor, Will Chan of Singtao News Corporation Ltd. –after arriving exceptionally earlier than anticipated in Hong Kong, around 5:45am this morning.
After an extended ‘executive‘ breakfast with me, myself and I in Central lol, I made my way in the afternoon to their Tin Hau office to meet with him. Will has generously featured Cassius Eyewear, and currently our exclusive Hong Kong stockist, Kapok, in the November issue of Jet magazine–the purveyors of everything curious/ stylish/ creative/ freethinking. Lovely!
He told me about how he’d come across Cassius Eyewear, and how the art direction of the Cassius Eyewear 2010 campaign had caught his attention. When he heard that Cassius Eyewear was stocked in Hong Kong, he was excited, and contacted Kapok immediately.
With the Hong Kong market over-saturated with luxury eyewear brands, he felt Cassius Eyewear was a breathe of fresh air. This is great feedback; and that we’re heading in the right direction–Hong Kong is still a relatively new market for us. He also felt that Cassius Eyewear was such a great product, we should be stocked in more stores like, AOC, Eye n’ I and Puni (nota bene, look those up).
