Who is Chris Benns?

Chris Benns is a UK-based fashion stylist and consultant who’s very quickly making a name for himself in London. His first major project, after exploding on the scene in 2006, was stylist to The Scissor Sisters, working alongside their American creative team headed by Zaldy Goco (of L.A.M.B.) – this eventually brought him to the attention of fashion designer and director, Kim Jones (love him..), who Benns assisted on a variety of projects in 2007.

Since going solo, Benns has shot for BLVD, Electric Youth, Geil, i-D, Vogue Homme, V, VMan, as well as campaigns for Dunhill, McQ by Alexander McQueen and Tommy Hilfiger.

Next week he’s is shooting a 12-page spread for U.S. Blackbook, featuring some Cassius Eyewear (!). We’re super-excited (remember Nicole Richie channeling Lady GaGa in the April 2009 issue!), can’t wait to see the results! Chris you diamond geezer!

Can't verify any of the work this guy is meant to have done. Recently saw some of his stuff on video jug, which made me doubt his credibility (not based on his former work, like I said I can't find any of it). In some videos he's suggesting certaun types of clothing, then next he's saying they're so last season. One word, comical.
